The English themed Atlantic Avenue ChipShop is boasting great reviews from locals and out-of-state fans.
The Atlantic ChipShop is located at 129 Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn. It has been open for four years and has been going strong since. The ChipShop is famous for its English/Irish cuisine and beers. It has a full bar of 16 beers on tap and a homey English décor.
Many find the food to be delicious, and the eating place is famous now for its shepherd’s pies, fish and chips, and for its deserts such as fried twinkies and snickers. The majority of the meals and deserts are deep fried with dough that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
“Fish and chips are really good, shepherd's pie is good to go, and deep fried snicker desert is difficult to share,” said Kenneth Kerr, who hails from England and goes to the ChipShop often.
“It’s better than many of the fish and chip shops that I find when I go back to England these days,” said Kenneth Kerr.
